Don't waste your money Jonno. I have the 1st DVD of DH which was from the LD master. I got it to compare to the LD a year or two ago but never got around to doing it (also to compare the color timing). If you want, I can send you a copy so you don't have to buy it.

That would be terrific, thanks PDB. I just need the main video stream (with the 5.1 track of course) if that's a manageable file to upload (though given the likely lack of features, the difference between that and a whole image may be negligible).

Additionally regarding the DVD audio the initial non-anamorphic release drops two frames compared to the blu. I was going to include it but it would have required an audio edit to the AC3 file with which I am not competent. I will post in the projects thread this evening, I'm a bit busy now

I made a comparison of a few frames:
http://screenshotcomparison.com/comparison/194445 The netflix master looks noticeably darker, and also in 2.4 as opposed to the 2.36 framing of the BD. It has more information on the right side of the screen while losing some information on the left. It also seems to be less detailed than the BD, although it could be the fault of Netflix's compression. I also don't like the regrade very much, at times it seems better looking than the BD, but it looks drab for most of the time. Can anyone with better knowledge tell which is more accurate to the original prints?
