Hi everyone, I am working on a very rare Restoration project called "House of Frankenstein 1997". I have captured the entire film from my VHS. This is probably the highest quality of the film that is known possibly and it's being converted with Starlight from Topaz Video AI. Half of Part 1 is completed and it looks like a brand new film. I'm editing the film to color correct and color grade once both parts are converted but the audio needs work. I used Logic pro and I was able to split the stems for the dialogue, sound effect and music for testing. I wanted to see if anyone might be interested helping me on the audio for the 3 hour film. This is an extremely rare film and I think I may be the only person with a high quality copy of the film. I'm not very good with Audio engineering but for video editing I'm very good at. Let me know if anyone would be interested so we can release another rare film to the public in high quality.

Never heard of it before, but it sounds interesting. Definitely going to give it a watch when you're done.
Do you have any screenshots of your work? I've seen a lot of people go way to far with Topaz and end up with a waxy mess.
Also if it really is a rare tape then it wouldn't hurt to upload the raw capture as well to preserve it.

A little waxy but not too bad, especially given the source. It's probably much better in motion.
Is it an off-air recording?

Here is an update for the film:
I have pretty much completed Part 1 and Part 2 for the films. I would like to share the links to someone and have them look at it and give me some feedback before doing a full release later on.
Audio has been cleaned up no more static audio and video looks great after fixing the color. If anyone is interested in taking a look for feedback let me know.
