Well, wouldn't be cool to have te UHD with the Netflix colors instead? I mean, UHD should not be necessarily HDR at the end, so...

I was considering downsizing it to 1080p so that there would not be artifacts in the color-matching process. I assume the more similar resolution and frame both have the more precise the result would be. But maybe the HDR look actually resembles the Netflix. Someone with HDR equipment would have to testify on that matter. The idea I was suggesting was to do what Fox failed to do: providing a brand new remastered 1080p Blu-ray.

There is a 1080p SDR one already out there, just check out the recent uploads. It's about 12gb but not looking very good color wise.

If it's not similar looking to the Netflix, then it's useless. Might as well watch the actual Blu-ray or the Netflix. I'd very much prefer a Netflix color matched version applied to the UHD.

Would also like a 1080p with the Netfix colors. At the moment just watching a simple 2 pass 30mbit handbrake conversion I did in 1080p with hdr intact and using madvr to convert to sdr but of course it comes out quite dark ( I also don't have the hardware to play at 4k).
Stamper, can't see that 12gb conversion upload at the usual places.
